JOB SPECIFICATION - HR CONSULTANT (6 MONTH FTC).
Main Duties:
To oversee the launch of our new Management of Absence policy.
To ensure effective and consistent implementation of the policy.
To consult managers on the development of effective sickness reports.
To work with managers on difficult individual sickness cases.
To develop sickness benchmarking information.
To develop a range of health promotion measures e.g. private medical insurance, private treatment, access to leisure centres,
To consider alternative Occupational Health provision.
To provide general assistance to our busy Personnel team on other urgent issues.
Person specification:
Skills and abilities.
Persuasion, tact, advocacy, working to deadlines, presentation skills.
Knowledge.
Of absence procedures and employment law.
Experience.
2 years general HR experience
